In Honor Of Lion Jean Stewart

Lion Jean (and Jack, her husband) join the Fulshear Simonton Lions Club and jumped right into service. At the Fulshear community events where the Lions sold Funnel Cakes and Hotdogs, you would find Lion Jean taking orders and making change, always with a smile and friendly word.

Lion Jean was the Lions chairperson of the Veteran's Day Breakfast committee and coordinated with the Rotary to create a community event that honored our veterans. She also was the chairperson of the Peace Poster Contest which gives young people the opportunity to share their vision of peace.  She and Lion Jack also lead the Thank You Breakfast to show community appreciation to our local police and fire departments.  She participated in the Memorial Day Commemoration and helped coordinate with the Fulshear Katy Area Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Brazos River to create a meaningful community event.

Lion Jean will be missed and we would be honored if you donate to one of her service passions.
