Current Projects and Services
Fulshear Simonton Lions Club has been involved in a variety of projects and activities that serve our communities. There is something for everyone. We welcome your participation, input and ideas.

Fundraising
Fulshear Simonton Lions Club has raised more than $35,000 for charitable projects.

Fundraising is done through the sale of funnel cakes and hot dogs at most City of Fulshear and Simonton events and through the generous donations from our communities.
College Scholarships
We sponsor college scholarships for graduating high school students. learn more


Peace Poster
For over three decades, Lions clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity. learn more

Vision
Vision Screening
Fulshear Simonton Lions Club works with local elementary schools to provide Spot Vision screening.

Eye Glasses
Financial assistance to purchase glasses from participating optometrists for individuals in financial need.

Eye Glass Recycling
Refractive errors can be easily corrected with eyeglasses, yet millions living in low and middle income countries lack access to basic eye care services. Lions have recognized the urgent need for corrective lenses and collect usable glasses in their communities to support the Lions Recycle For Sight Program.

Texas Lions Camp Youth Sponsorship
Texas Lions Camp is a residential camping facility for children with physical disabilities, type 1 diabetes and cancer. The Camp is located on over 500 acres in the beautiful Texas Hill Country and is designed to introduce the 'Can Do' philosophy to children dealing with special medical conditions. learn more


Fulshear Police Foundation Fundraising
We are proud to participate in the annual Gumbo Cook Off sponsored by the Fulshear Police Foundation. A portion of proceeds from sale of our funnel cakes goes directly to the Fulshear Police Foundation.
Daily Park Tree Donation
Fulshear Simonton Lions Club coordinated tree donation and planting of two Live Oaks at Daily Park in Simonton. Many thanks to our partner, Enchanted Gardens, for their generous tree donation and Fort Bend County for providing the equipment and labor to get them planted.


Disaster recovery assistance from hurricanes and floods
Fulshear Simonton Lions Club is currently collecting donations for Lions district disaster fund for Texas Hill Country flood relief. Donations can be made here
